• John R. Wimber (1934-1997), was founder and International Director of the Association of Vineyard Churches. He was an international conference speaker, inspiring worship song-writer, best-selling author and spiritual leader to the hundreds of Vineyard congregations in the United States and abroad. Wimber was the senior pastor of the Anaheim Vineyard Christian Fellowship for seventeen years (1977 to 1994). He was also known as a pivotal voice in the arenas of spiritual formation and renewal.
