Elijah Jong Fil Kim, PhD (Theology, University of Birmingham), came with his wife, Rev. Amy Kim, to the Philippines in 1992 to plant a church. There they established A Grain of Wheat Christian Ministries in Taytay, Rizal near Manila. Dr. Kim is the founder and Chairman of Grain of Wheat College, which aims to train leaders and ministers for Southeast Asia and other parts of the world. He is also a founding member of Global Urban Ministries Network. He was adjunct faculty at Center for Urban Ministerial Education (CUME) Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, USA. He is the author of The Rise of the Global South: The Decline of Western Christendom and the Rise of Majority World Christianity (2012).
